결론 및 제언
결 론
본 연구는 대학생들의 미혼여성의 인공유산에 대한 주관성을 파악하여 개인에게 내재된 태
도유형을 분류하고 그 유형에 따른 특성을 확인하여 인공유산을 최소화하는데 기초자료를
제공하기 위하여 시도하였다.
인공유산이란 개념은 상황적이고 주관적인 개념으로 대상자가 갖는 인식과 태도에 많은 차
이가 있을 뿐 아니라 대상자에 따라서 다르게 해석될 수 있으므로 주관성을 고려한 심층적
연구방법이 요구되므로 Q-방법론을 사용하였는데, 이는 각 개인의 경험이나 지각에 따른
주관성을 심층적으로 측정하고 객관화할 수 있는 방법이기 때문이다.
Q-진술문은 문헌, 선행연구 및 면담을 통하여 분석한 총 128개로 Q-모집단을 구성하였으
며, 주제별로 범주화하여 각 범주를 대표할 수 있는 진술문 34개를 Q-표본으로 최종 선정
하였다. P-표본은 일 대학의 남학생 21명, 여학생 28명 총 49명이었다. 34개의 진술문을 응
답자들이 9점 척도상에 강제로 정규분포를 이루도록 Q-표본 분류를 하여, 그 결과를 컴퓨
터 PCq 프로그램을 이용하여 요인분석하였다
미혼여성의 인공유산에 대한 남·녀대학생들의 태도는 3가지 유형으로 나왔으며 그 결과는
다음과 같다.
제1유형을 대변하는 견해와 태도를 보수주의형으로 명명하였다. 태아의 진리 즉 태아도 하
나의 생명체인 인간이의로 어떠한 경우라도 인공유산은 허용될 수 없으며 무엇보다도 예방
이 중요하다는 견해를 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다.
제2유형을 대변하는 견해와 태도를 자유주의형으로 명명하였다. 여성의 권리 즉 여성이 자
기 자신의 신체 사용에 대한 권리가 있으므로 타당한 이유가 있다면 인공유산할 수 있다는
견해를 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다.
제3유형을 대변하는 견해와 태도를 절충주의형으로 명명하였다. 사회적으로 용인된 이유라
면 인공유산은 허용될 수 있으나 무엇보다 예방이 중요하다는 견해를 가지고 있는 것으로
나타났다.
본 연구의 결과를 종합하여 보면 미혼여성의 인공유산에 대한 견해는 응답자 개개인에 따
라 매우 다양하게 나타나는 현상이며 각 개인의 유형에 따라 공통점을 가지면서도 독립적으
로 존재하는 양상을 띠고 있는 것을 볼 수 있었다. 미혼의 남·녀들은 인공유산에 대한 태
도에 따라 자신의 행위를 선택하고 결정해 나가므로 인공유산에 대한 태도유형을 확인하여
개개인의 개별성을 고려한 효육과 지도를 병행하는 것이 필요하며, 또한 올바른 성의식과
가치관 확립을 위하여 아동기부터의 체계적인 성교육이 필요하다고 보아진다 건강관리전문
인으로서의 간호사는 예방적 차원에 적극적인 관심과 참여를 하여 인공유산의 개인 및 사회
적 문제점을 낮추고 사회적 건강문제를 해결할 수 있는 개인의 준비와 노력이 요구된다.

This study was designed to find the characteristics and patterns in subjectivity of an
attitude on the induced abortion before marriage in women for a university student.
Q-methodology was used as a research design and the research procedures were as
follows. Q-sampling has been derived from the literature review and Interview. Its
credibility and validity were also tested by nursing and methodology professors. Total of
34 statements were selected. p-sampling has been drawn and 49 samples were selected.
Based on 9 point scale, the sleeted respondents rated their operant definition on the
induced abortion before marriage in women. The results of above procedures were
analyzed by PCQ program.
The attitude about the induced abortion before marriage in women were analyzed based
on the typal array, extreme comments, and the demographic information of study
subjects.
The results revealed that there were three types of attitude about the induced abortion
before marriage in women.
The three types were named as follows ;
1) The first type, agree of conservative perspectives, was consisted of 15 subjects.
They emphasized the sanctity of human life and the right of life that will never allow
the killing fetus and prevention of induced abortion.
2) The second type, agree of liberal perspectives, was consisted of 15 subjects. They
insisted the right to choice for women to control their body, so women have appropriate
reason, they could choice induced abortion.
3) The third type, agree of compromise perspectives, was consisted of 7 subjects. They
emphasized prevention of induced abortion but allowed under social permission.
As a result, this study discovered three types of the attitude about the induced
abortion before marriage in women. By identifying the nature of each of these types,
this study can be useful to develop efficient strategies for preventing induced abortion.
